It’s tempting to try a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

Change putter. Work on your grip. Fix your pivot. Adjust your stance. Swing softly.

Nobody is probably going to laugh at you if you try lots of stuff. You may even get someone’s approval. It’s almost accepted as normal.

But this approach lacks a key ingredient.

Focus.

The key to playing better golf isn’t attempting to do many things at once. You want to do a few key things really well. And you want to drive these home shot after shot.

Remove the distractions and you’ll find the focus you need.
